These terms and information is to be read together with our website terms and privacy policy.

Information relating to distance and off-premises contracts

(a) Landlords or letting agents purchasing Rent Smart Training receive online training which is approved for the purpose of a landlord or agent Rent Smart Wales licence.

(b) Our trading name is – TFP Online Ltd.

(c) Our contact details are – 13 Fleetsbridge Business Centre, Upton Road, Poole, Dorset, BH17 7AF, telephone 01258 85 85 85 and our email is training@tfponline.co.uk.

(d) We do not act on behalf of any other trader.

(f) Our charges are as displayed from time to time on the signup page.

(g) As our services are primarily online, there are no delivery charges for the services mentioned above. If anything were to be posted upon request, up to £10.00 would be charged for postage and packing.

(h) Where an annual payment is chosen that amount will be payable annually. If a payment is received late, the payment will be backdated to the last renewal date except if the last payment was made more than a year previously in which case it will start from the date of that payment.

(j) You will have instant access to the services described above.

(k) A complaint can be made by sending an email to training@tfponline.co.uk.

(l) Because our service offers instant access to the services, by ordering and subscribing you are giving us an express request to obtain the services immediately. There is a right to cancel (see later).

(m) Although we don’t normally provide physical goods, if we do so and any contract can be cancelled, you must return the goods at your own expense before the contract can be cancelled and you may be liable for our reasonable costs.

(n) We offer a right to cancel within 30 days as long as the training course has not been completed and no test has been taken.

(q) We have ongoing after sales service all available via our website or contact details above.

(s) The duration of the contract is as per the product chosen ranging from annual to quarterly to monthly. All recurring contracts can be cancelled anytime without notice before the next payment is due to be taken. This can be easily done from the payment page. Each payment taken is an express request to access the services immediately.

(t) The minimum duration is as shown on each product (for example one year).

(v) All our downloadable documents are in PDF format for which a free reader is available here or in Rich Text Format (RTF) which should be compatible with all word processors (including Microsoft Word). Documents in RTF version can sometimes be made available in Word (.doc) or Pages (.pages) format upon request.

(w) The saving of PDF files normally requires special software so although you can complete most of our forms on screen, you will not be able to save those completed forms on a Windows operated machine without special software. If you use Apple Macintosh with the latest operating system, the ability to save completed PDF forms is built in so you can save them to disk.

Right to Cancel

You have the right to cancel our online training within 30 days without giving reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 30 days from the day on which you have registered and paid for the training.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement sent by email or post.  You may use the example model cancellation form below, but it is not obligatory.

You must not have completed the training nor taken the test to be able to cancel.

Effects of Cancellation

If you cancel, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you.

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.

We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the contract.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.  In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
